Innings Break
It's the innings break, and St. Anne's College has bowled out Maliyadeva College for 214 runs in the 2023 Battle of the Rocks One Day Encounter. The last wicket falling on the last ball of the Devans innings was quite dramatic. This match is still up for grabs, and the second half is expected to be just as exciting.
Maliyadeva registered a comprehensive win
We, at St. Anne's College, extend our sincere congratulations to Maliyadeva College on their comprehensive win in the 2023 Battle of the Rocks One Day Encounter. With this victory, Devans were able to break the 12-12 winning tally tie and claim the One Day trophy after six long years.
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our fans who supported the Annites both on and off the ground during the tournament. Some of you have been with the team throughout the year. Our team is mostly comprised of young students and they still have a long way to go. Your support, both on and off the ground, means a lot to them and it inspires them to strive for greatness.
Once again, we congratulate Maliyadeva College on their well-deserved win, and we look forward to continuing our friendly and competitive relationship in the future.
