Battle of the Rocks - 2016 Limited Over Encounter - Scorecard

Maliyadeva College won the toss and they decided to put St. Anne's team to bat first. The boys could put up a great score of 267. Devans start well but our boys fought back at picked up some quick wickets to hinder the progress of Devans. Maliyadeva boys also showing their fighting spirit, tried to fight back at latter part of the match but couldn't over come the resistance of the Annites players which restrict Maliyadeva batsmen to 236 in their 44th over. Our team showed the skills in both bat and ball and also with fielding and team spirit. Maliyadeva subjected to five run outs which is quite interesting.

It was a match played in great spirit, the credit should goes to both St. Anne's and Maliyadeva teams for their fighting spirit, brotherhood and good sporting spirit. The match also strengthened the long holding friendship between the two Colleges.

There was a huge a crowd and the entire Battle of the Rocks edition was filled with colours and fun which are nothing new to the tournament.
